When Bad Photoshop Happens to Good Babies: The Zachary Chronicles

What do you get when you mix The Emperor's lighting hands with Vader's fashion sense? One bad ass baby sith.

And when you turn that costume around and add a chopstick...Now that's what I call magic!

It's Time for a Change

Who would of thought that purchasing the cheapest DSLR camera on the market via a vendor that ends in "mart" would result in a camera that is...not the best. I tell you who, everyone.

Oh well, it'll have to do for now, but I'm going to start to have a wandering eye when it comes to looking for a better suitor.

I expect my episode of "Cheaters: The Camera Edition" to air sooner than later.

5 Months and no posts...eek

I haven't had any blog posts for 5 months...My son is 5 months old. Maybe I can get a grant to see if there is some kind of correlation to this phenomena.

My latest artistic devours have been completely related to my beautiful baby boy, Zachary. I'm such a sell out, but at least its not scrap booking...or not yet.

Here are a few of my of my greatest hits from my "Ode to Zach" series:

And last, but not least...Father's Day Mug:

I'm probably going to add a Zach section to my web site, just because he's so damn cute!

Did I mention I have a son...

iMovie, Youtube, Me busy

Morning My 7 little balls of sunshine,
Today I am going to start the editing process on "burb religion" using my mac and iMovie software.

Featured imagery will include a couple of strip mall places of worship, a mega church that is merely a satalite to an even more mega church and the "Mc-Mosque" (a beautiful Mosque that basically has a McDonald's in its parking lot).

I'm going for a dash of cynicism with a hearty helping of satire. Hopefully I won't do anything too offensive, because that is the furthest thing from my intention.

As always, I'll post the link as soon as its edited and live. I'm using something called YouTube to share it...anyone ever heard of that?

Website, Website, I said it twice

Good Morning Bloggos,
The website is officially complete! http://www.thewrightportfolio.com/

(ok, not completely...I still need to post three videos on the video page...but they're not in existence as of yet.)

The video page will be complete on or before December 14 because that's when the project is due.

Thanks for all of the support in getting this bad boy up and running.

Drumroll Please...

To reward my blog followers and facebook fans, I am giving you a sneak peek at The Wright Portfolio website. Its about 85% finished. The "about the artist" section is pretty much just a place holder at this point, but look at all them prudy pictures.

And now for a Griswold Family front yard drumroll....

Fruitful Journey

East Dallas, M-Streets, and The Village: my artwork lives in such glamorous places. My journey to get photos of commissioned art pieces for my web site was exactly like the Lord of the Rings Trilogy....well more like the directors cut that ended with Frodo Baggins splitting a bottle of vino with Gimli at Scalini's.

Web Site Roll Out: Coming Soon?!?

"The most important aspect of developing a web site is to have content and copy ready to roll." - Christie Wright

So I have to sit back and laugh at myself as I hop around DFW today to snap shots of my past commissioned art work.

Sure Meredith, I'd love to have dinner...can we do it at your place? No no, please pay no attention to the giant camera around my neck. Camera's are the new scarfs this season. You should really know this, you are in the fashion industry. Is the pasta sticking?

*Meredith turns to stir the pasta as Christie ninja's her way around the house, completely silent except the slow click of the shutter*
